Scott has been a part of the rhythm of the back bays for as long as most locals can remember. As the steward of Scott’s Dock—a Margate landmark since 1959—he has carried on his families tradition of welcoming fishermen, boaters, and sunset seekers to the water. But what truly drives Scott is sharing that love of the bay with the next generation. Whether it’s showing a kid how to bait a hook, helping a family head out on their first boat ride, or simply encouraging people to unplug and enjoy nature, Scott believes the dock is a place where lifelong memories begin. For him, it’s always been about community, connection, and keeping the spirit of the bay alive.
